IARC Milestones completed • Sept 2011: End of Tevatron Run, FESS obtains ~full access to infrastructure at CDF, PPD begins D&D in CDF assembly bldg • Sept 2011: HOK submits engineering drawings & bid documents for state funded OTE building • Oct 2011: Industrial Area upgrade project near completion, $ 350 K under budget, excess funds transferred to Feynman sanitary project • Nov 7, 2011: HOK submittal checked by FESS, bid documents ready, signed requisition for $ 14.5 M… OTE building soon out for bids!

Proposed IARC timeline (OTE building) • Nov-Jan,2012:OTE bldg bid response & evaluate • Feb, 2012: Director’s review prior to bid award, set scope of initial contract and award contract • Nov-Feb 2012: PPD clears out majority of West end of CDF for OTE building construction • Mar 2012 Dec 2013 OTE construction • May 2013: Provide detailed plan for first occupants of OTE building (Project X, APC, IARC, etc) • Dec 2013: beneficial occupancy of OTE, final build out of FNAL supplied systems (e.g partitions) • Apr 2014: FNAL OTE occupants begin to move in

Proposed IARC timeline (CDF building) • Dec 2011, FESS request for FY12 funds to estimate FY13-14 assembly bldg refurbishment • Determine required life safety and fire upgrades • Determine changes for ADA compliance • Determine plan for CDF tours and plan stairwells • Detailed IARC requirements, plan for various infrastructure • Plan for CDF office rework • What is paid for with D&D funds vs GPP • Jan-July 2012: PPD removes cable carrier and cleans out CDF counting rooms & deep pit area • Oct 2012: Transfer ownership of CDF building to Technical Division ? PPD continues to occupy East end of first floor except (cryo) & tour area.

Proposed IARC timeline (CDF building) • Mar 2012- Sept 2012: FESS makes plan for refurbishment of CDF building (can we start design ?) • Oct 2012-Mar 2013: Refurbishment GPP design • Apr 2013 refurbishment contracts out for bid, Notice to proceed in Jun 2013 • Jun 2013: PPD initial D&D complete, office areas, deep pit, west end and perimeter of east end all available to FESS contractors for refurbishment • Jun 2013 – Jun 2014 Refurbishment CDF building and IARC infrastructure installation • Jun 2014: IARC program officially begins and industry occupants begin to move in
