BACKGROUND Pine Drive School Site • 18 Acres • Owned by Douglas County School District • Zoned for Public School Facilities • No Concerns from Environmental Assessment and Survey Parcel Adjacent and North of Pine Drive Site • 2 Acres • Owned by Douglas County Acreage of Sites • Twice the size of a 750 student Elementary School site

BENEFITS OF SITE Location • Central to Eastern Douglas County for access to students • Near Parker business community for future partnerships in Career & Technical Education • Site not needed for typical school capacity Size • Large enough for Alternative Education facility and Career & Technical Education

  5. Approval by DCSD Board of Education At its February 19, 2019 Meeting, the Douglas County School District Board of Education approved the recommendation from staff and the Long Range Planning Committee to use the Pine Drive school site for a new Alternative Education facility and Career & Technical Education.
