Adjustable Gate Valve Lockout - Isolation Point and Solution In Industries, many of the energies like Hydraulic, Steam, Pneumatic, Chemical, etc. flow through pipelines which are controlled by valves. During maintenance, these energies need to be shut off and locked out so that no one can operate them inadvertently, causing a mishap. Earlier metal wires, ropes or steel chains were used as lockouts, which were complicated to use. Then, different sizes of simple gate valve lockouts came into existence (ES-GVL - complete range). To make it even simpler, an adjustable gate valve lockout was designed for locking out all the small gate valves with different wheel dia ranging from 2.5 mm to 16.5 mm. This Adjustable Gate Valve Lockout device (ES-AGV-SC) is majorly used on the pipelines of Boiler, Compressor, Chiller, Cooling Towers, DG, Tool Master, #Blower, etc.

  2. These valves are adjustable, light-weighted, user friendly and resistant to extreme weather & temperature conditions. Modified Version: It has been observed that many gate valves have spindle emerging from their center. E-Square has developed a new modified version of AGV-SC with a Cutout option at the center. Once locked, the gate valves rotate freely around the hand wheel and prevent the valve from being turned. It is then locked and tagged during maintenance.
