Curriculum Enhancement Grants Review Process • Four review panels • Each panel consisted of 3-4 faculty representing a variety of disciplines and 1 CTL staff member • CTL leadership facilitated and recorded panel discussions • Panels ranked proposals and provided funding recommendations • CTL leadership and UITS representative made final selections based on panel recommendations, distribution across disciplines, and funding available

  5. Curriculum Enhancement Grants 2010 CEG Applications and Awards • 27 Proposals submitted • 15 Grants awarded • 55% Funding rate • 40 Faculty members involved • ~$110,000 total funds awarded (not including department matches)

Curriculum Enhancement Grants Responsibilities of the Grant • Meet with assigned CTL consultant by May 15, 2010 and regularly thereafter with mutual agreement • Fulfill and meet all objectives and deadlines as delineated in proposal • Attend CTL programming as appropriate • Submit a final report no later than June 15, 2011 • Make an oral or poster presentation in a symposium to be sponsored by the CTL-tentative Fall 2011

  11. Curriculum Enhancement Grants Distribution of Funds • First half of award money • Money for stipends will appear in July 1st paycheck • Money for equipment/software/etc. will be available May 15th • Second half of award money • Provided when project complete and final report submitted
