Service Dogs Can… • retrieving dropped items from the floor • turn on and off light switches • retrieve the telephone, remote control, and other items by name • help a person dress and undress • assist individuals in rolling over in bed • open and close doors, cabinets, and drawers • retrieve a snack and/or medication from a refrigerator
