  2. Pg 25 Practice • -3 -6= 2. 4-8= 3. 5- (-3)= • 8- (-2) 5. -3 + (-3)= 6. -7 + 5= • -4 x -2= 8. -12/4= 9. -5 x -2= 10. -16/-8= 11. 10/-2= 12. -3 x -2= Directions 7.5 pg 26 Combining Integers for a value- 1. Start with the first integer • If the second integer is negative or being subtracted, move to the left of the first integer on the number line. • If the second number is positive or being added, move to the right of the first integer on the number line. • If you have a negative being subtracted, - (-#), Then it changes to a positive. Multiplying and Dividing Integers 1. Positive and positive = positive 3 x 5 = 15 15/3= 5 2. Negative and negative = positive -3 x -5= 15 15/-3=-5 3. Positive and negative = negative 3 x -5= -15 -15/3=-5 TIP- if just one negative is in the mix, then the product or quotient is negative.

  3. Pg 27 Practice Plotthecoordinates A  (-3,1) B (2,3) C (1,-2)  D (-2, -3) Name the Coordinates A   B  C D Pg 28 6.11 Coordinate Planes (infused) Directions- • Horizontal axis is X. Vertical axis is Y. Notice there is a quadrant for +x, -x, +y, and –y. • The center is the origin. It has the coordinates of (0,0). • This set of x and y values are called ordered pairs. • Plot X first, plot Y second • Where is (-3, 2) ?
