What weather phenomenon is this city famous for? • Describe the climate of this city using the attached climate chart. • What biome is this city a part of? Describe the type of vegetation that grows there. • Based on the climate, what outdoor activities is this city famous for? • Based on the climate, when would be the best time of year to vacation there? What would you do on that vacation that time of year? • Based on the climate, would this be a great place to live? Why or why not? • What are the latitude longitude coordinates for this city? • Your Broadcast • A script must be turned in first. (see Weather Forecast Reader’s Theater Rubric) • Visuals Required • Include at least one type of weather map. • Include a data chart to show the weather information. • Video must last 2-5min • Video can be made at home or at school. • Share the data on your 5 day weather forecast. • Include climate information in a creative way, • Make your city sound like the place to move to or visit because of it’s climate.
