  2. REGIONAL DAY • Annual program for NEO community leadership program (CLP) classes • Sponsored by NEORC, Leadership Taskforce, CLPs, foundations and corporations

Taskforce Mission • Promote the regional competitiveness of northeast Ohio • Help disseminate knowledge gained by university research via the community leadership program networks • Assist in the development of regional components for program curricula • Promote alumni understanding of the assets and challenges of the region • Provide citizen input for university research.

TASKFORCE BACKGROUND • NEO Regional Leadership Taskforce is a university/leadership program partnership formed in 1995 • Leadership programs of 17 counties • Universities – CSU, KSU, YSU, UA • Affiliates • NEOUCOM • Lorain County Community College • Team NEO • Other regional initiatives include • Alumni surveys 1995 & 2001 – 2006 anticipated • Website – www.neolead.com • Newsletter - Regional Focus • Regional Day • Regional database of nearly 9,000
