Status
Status

  • Indian team (mamu) developed a macro to generate rawdata for station 4 in bending plane (aliroot 3.09).

  • Based on a naive read-out mapping: matrix of pads ix,iy (the only mapping-segmentation coded in aliroot).

  • Macro has been adapted to aliroot 4 (mainly new IO)

  • South Africa team (Bruce) adapting this macro into rawdata framework.

  • 20 DDL for muon tracking

  • A DDL and crocus per half chamber or detection plane (right and left).

  • 5 data concentrators per crocus, 10 bus patch each (5+5): 50 bus patch per crocus or DDL.

  • Each bus patch is a read-out bus of MANU cards.

  • 64 channels (pads) per manu card. 1.1 millions of channels in MUON tracking.

  • Extension to non-bending plane.

  • 2 DDL per detection plane (or chamber)

  • Extension to Stations 1, 2, 3 & 5.

  • Add rawdata for trigger chambers (2 DDL for the full trigger stations).

  • Rawdata alice technical note in preparation.
