  1. Mission of ACTS World Relief ACTS World Relief unites, equips and deploys human resources and rapid response assets in emergency and community service—and in doing so, demonstrates the compassion of God, regardless of race or religion.

Deploying resources ACTS World Relief shares the experience of responding to 42 disasters internationally, including: • Hurricane Katrina (U.S.) • 2010 earthquake in Haiti • Hurricane Mitch (Honduras and Nicaragua) • Tornados and flooding in U.S. • Fires in Nigeria • Over $60M in supplies deployed

  3. Equipping others for rapid response to disasters ACTS World Relief has equipped emergency response teams internationally, including: • 80,000 trained globally. • 1,000 certified responders in each of the following: Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, Argentina, Haiti, Nigeria and South Africa. • 10,000 certified responders in the United States.

  6. Collaborating to build capacity through training and certification ACTS World Relief can deliver standardized long-term training in selected universities to empower a greater regional disaster response capacity through the certification of students, staff, church and community leaders.

  7. Setting the standard for rapid response ACTS World Relief has consistently responded to U.S. disasters within 6 hours—and within 24 hours of international disasters. Drawing on this logistical experience, ACTS World Relief equips others to reach the desired rapid response results that reach communities and children quickly and effectively.

  8. Ensuring safety, visibility and access ACTS World Relief ensures that responders are recognizable, thereby increasing their safety, credibility and access into controlled disaster zones. This process also allows better coordination of rapid responders and positive public relations in the communities they serve.

  9. Systems and technology to respond ACTS World Relief rapidly deploys semi-trailers, shipping containers, mobile kitchens, generators, sound stages, large tents, air service, ships, sanitation facilities, public address systems, medical supplies and food for disasters.

  10. Partnering with major supporters to deploy resources ACTS World Relief has established a strong network of supporters with demonstrated success in deploying resources in response to disasters. These logistical capabilities help increase the response capacity for regional rapid response teams.

  11. Recognized for response with results ACTS World Relief has been featured on major networks for its success in emergency response. The media is attracted to disasters and want to feature interventions that show positive results—the likes of which ACTS World Relief helps produce through collaboration and compassion. Transitioning disaster response to long-term care and development Through innovative collaboration, ACTS World Relief facilitates the opportunity to create a seamless transition from response to long-term recovery, thereby increasing the likelihood of truly rebuilding and sustaining communities.
