Migration plan • All GS1 MOs eliminate any divergences between national guidelines and European guidelines, place the new guidelines on websites of GS1 MOs. • GS1 MOs together with GS1 Europe help will gain support from multinationals. • GS1 MOs and GS1 Europe will get support from main players on a national level. • GS1 Austria, GS1 Germany and GS1 Switzerland – update DACH documents to be compliant with the European guidelines.

  14. Other issues • Rapid Action Force – RAF: • continuation of cooperation • network of experts • scope: correct barcoding and logistic labels implementation • guidelines update • communication – discussion forum and www (www.gs1pl.org/raf).

  15. A harmonized logistic label is possibleand adopting a harmonized approach saves and !!! Our message

Next steps for the users The users should : • get familiar with the guidelines • check if their labels are compliant with the standard • check if their traceability process requires additional data on a label • check if their partners demand additional data on labels • refer to their local GS1 MO for some help in case of any discrepancies.
