PROPOSED BUILDING INFORMATION • State rated capacity (SRC) 610 students • Proposed building area 102,108 SF • Project scope Renovation and addition • SUMMARY OF IMPROVEMENTS: • CURRICULUM • The building interior will be designed to new curriculum and building standards and will meet BCPS and Maryland’s Standard for Technology • BUILDING ENVELOPE • Roof replacement • Repair /restore existing building envelope and improve thermal value • CODE IMPROVEMENTS • Install elevator(s) to access all levels • Provide code compliant restrooms and stairs • Provide code compliant hardware and doors • MEP SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS • New mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems to be provided • Fire protection, telecommunications and security systems to be provided • Upgrades to incoming utilities
