2. Mesrine Mesrine starts by showing the name of the director and opening title sequences in several different languages. The first shot is a mid shot of a woman from both the front and back as she walks down a street, this shot uses tense and dramatic music. Next a long shot is shown of the woman walking down the street, walking a dog and looking over her shoulder, while this shot is taking place the names of the main actors are shown. We then go to a close up of the woman when she stops walking a looks to her left and right. When the woman looks to the right the camera zooms out to a long shot as a man appears coming out of a building when the woman sees him, she nods her head to him and he begins to walk down the street towards her. We then get a close up of the man just like the woman looking over his shoulder and walking down the street to get a better look at him, he is wearing a black jacket, a red shirt and a pair of sunglasses. The title of the film is shown as a tracking shot is done of the man and woman walking down the street. A close up is then shot as a garage door opens, a car comes out with both the man and the woman inside it. The man reverses the car back along the street until they reach the building where we first saw the man. The woman rushes in as the man stands outside and keeps watch, while he keeps watch he removes his sunglasses to gives the first look of his eyes. When the woman exits the building, the man opens the boot of the car and the woman places a bag and some coats in it, while this is happening the man enters the building and the woman keeps watch. When the man reappears he is carrying a suitcase which he places in the boot while the woman takes off her sunglasses and gets back in the car. Finally the man shuts the boot and gets back in the car as well and begins to drive away.
