  2. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Eph. 6:1 Children, be obedient to your parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the Lord. Col. 3:20

My son… Listen to the instruction of your parents give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. 1:1; 4:20 do not forget my law, but let your heart keep my commands; 3:1 pay attention to my wisdom; lend your ear to my understanding, 5:1 keep your father's command,…do not forsake the law of your mother. 6:20 keep my words, and treasure my commands within you. 7:1

My son… Make your parents happy if your heart is wise, my own heart also will be glad; and my inmost being will rejoice, when your lips speak what is right 23:15-16 A wise son makes a glad father, but a foolish son is the grief of his mother. 10:1 He who begets a scoffer does so to his sorrow, and the father of a fool has no joy...A foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitterness to her who bore him. 17:21, 25 A foolish son is the ruin of his father, 19:13

And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, Romans 1:28-31

  14. But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, maliciousgossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 2 Timothy 3:1-4
