2. Summary Johnny Hangtime was at the tip of the Empire State Building. He was able to see all the other buildings and cars. To him, the cars were all tiny. He felt the nice breezy wind and it gave him endorphins. Then he had jumped off. Johnny landed on the airbag safetly. Johnny was a professional stuntman. He has caught on fire, jumped through windows, and jumped off of buildings. He was never afraid to do it. But his mom was afraid for him. As he kept on doing stunts, he got better and better. Then after he jumped through a fake window and got set on fire, he got a call that he was going to work with two famous movie stars. He was going to be their stunt doubles. Their names are Ricky Corvette and Augusta Wind. After a couple days, he found that Ricky was a mean person and that he liked Augusta. When he kept doing stunts, they got more dangerous. His mom was really scared that he one day he will not do the stunt right and he will get injured. After all these crazy stunts, Johnny got a call from the director of the movie they were working on. The movie was called, Two Birds One Stone. Anyway the director called Johnny to tell him he has to do the stunt that killed Johnny’s father. The stunt was to jump off the Niagra falls and have a parachute tied to his back. He was not happy when he found that out. A couple days later he had one day till the stunt and he was way more scared then a couple days before. Now it was time to go to sleep. He couldn’t get to bed. He was so nervous. So he went to the porch in the room of the hotel. Then Johnny saw a figure. The figure walked up to Johnny and said “hi”.

3. Setting The setting takes place in 5 different places. The places are California, Florida, his house in New Jersey, New York, and Canada. In all these places, he is doing all of his dangerous stunts. He is doing all of these stunts with the two famous movie stars Ricky Corvette and Augusta Wind. He is working with them because Ricky and Augusta work together in a bunch of movies. Johnny hangs out with them because he is Ricky’s stunt double.

4. Genre The for this book falls under the genre of realistic fiction. The story is realistic fiction because this story can actually happen in real life. This could be real because there can be a kid who is a stunt double for a famous movie star just like Johnny Hangtime. That is what the genre falls under.

5. Recommendation I recommend you to read Johnny Hangtime because this book is a very cool action book. It has so many stunts that you would never emagine any of the stunts are even possible. They have stunts like jumping off the Empire State building, jumping off the wing of an airplane getting shot in the chest with a bullet but he had a chest protector. That is the story of Johnny Hangtime.
