  2. The story • Sherron , Jehen and Natalie were going to perticapate in the big race, Sherron was cartwheeling, she felt it would take longer than Jehen. All girls wanted to find out what time they might have so they raced eachother. Walking so she got a five foot head start. Natalie was doing back walkovers so she got a ten foot head start. Jehen never passed anyone but Sherron passed Natalie at 10 feet. Sherron came in first place while Natalie came in second and Jehen came in last. Natalie O’Connor

  4. Equations Jehan and Natalie tied for first place and Sherron came in last. Jehan’s time was 10 seconds and travled a distance of 50 feet. To find the speed we use the equation d/t=s so we substitute and get 50/10=5 feet per second. Because Jehan got no head start her equation was Y=.2x+0. Natalie’s time was 10 seconds but travled 40 feet instead of 50 so her speed was 4 feet per second Natalie O’Connor

  6. Sherron decided to cartwheel but felt it might take her longer so she started at five feet. The ending point was at 50 feet. Her time was 11 seconds meaning she took the longest. Her overall distance was 45 feet. Jehan decided to walk and got no head start. The ending point was 50 feet. Her time was 10 seconds. Her overall distance was the whole 50 feet. • Natalie decided to do back walk overs and started at 10 feet because she felt she might be too slow. The ending point was 50 feet. Her time was 10 seconds. Her overall distance was 40.
