Study Program - Overview Large Variance

  • The proposed Study Program will provide participating students with an in depth understanding of New Zealand policy, research and practice associated with school development and teacher education

  • Opportunities will be provided to analyze, discuss and compare the New Zealand context (mainstream, bilingual and immersion settings) with that of the United States – in collaboration with a New Zealand ‘critical friend’

  • Facilitators of the Study Program will include politicians, policymakers, academics, practitioners and graduate students associated with and working in collaboration with the University of Auckland and Cognition Consulting Limited

  • At the conclusion of the program students will be awarded with a certificate or participation from New Zealand and student reports will be assessed by the participating student University/College.

Study Program - Organization Large Variance

  • Study Programs will be based on a maximum of 20 students

  • The program will be of 16 days duration

  • Individual student needs and expectations will be accommodated as far as possible in the program content

  • The Study Program will be hosted by the University of Auckland and Cognition Consulting Limited

  • The cost of the Study Program will be up to $3,000 – inclusive of all accommodation, meals, travel, teaching and materials in New Zealand
