Eric Gilbert of Deerfield, IL is a leader by example, both on and off the soccer field. He has played soccer since the age of five and was the Captain of his high school soccer team. He continues to compete throughout his college career at Illinois Wesleyan University and has been recognized as a leader on the team. Eric Gilbert of Deerfield, IL desires to make difference in the world around him, which prompted him to found “Lay It In for Leukemia”, a two-on-two basketball tournament to benefit Leukemia research.

  1. Eric Gilbert of Deerfield, IL - Education Eric Gilbert of Deerfield, IL is currently an accomplished student-athlete attending Illinois Wesleyan University. He is expected to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, with a concentration in Marketing and English minor in May of 2016. Eric Gilbert of Deerfield, IL is also a member of the school’s soccer team and has been a starter since he enrolled in the school’s program. He was a soccer player and team Captain, while receiving his high school education.

  2. Eric Gilbert of Deerfield, IL: All Around Athlete Eric Gilbert of Deerfield, IL is an all around competitor, who has played soccer since the age of five. He is currently studying at Illinois Wesleyan University, and competes as a starter for the school’s soccer program. Although Eric Gilbert of Deerfield, IL is most experienced in the sport of soccer, he is deeply interested in all sports, including baseball and basketball. His dream job is to either work as a journalist in the field of sports writing or work for a sports team in Marketing.

He is a leader and top performer for the soccer program at Illinois Wesleyan University, and has been a starter since his enrollment. Eric Gilbert of Deerfield, IL is also a community leader. He founded” Lay It In for Leukemia” in the spring of 2014, a two-on-two basketball tournament that raises awareness and donations for Leukemia research.

Eric Gilbert of Deerfield, IL: Soccer Captain and Leader Eric Gilbert of Deerfield, IL is a successful and highly dedicated collegiate-athlete currently competing in Division III soccer at Illinois Wesleyan University; he has been a starter since 2013. Eric Gilbert of Deerfield, IL is a leader both on and off the field, through hard work and a desire to make a difference in the world around him.
