  1. East Liverpool City Hospital Wound Care The Wound Care Center® at East Liverpool City Hospital provides comprehensive treatment options for patients suffering from acute, chronic and non-healing wounds. When wounds persist, a specialized approach is required for healing. Located on the first floor of the hospital, the Wound Care Center features dedicated examine and treatment rooms, as well as two hyperbaric oxygen chambers. The staff includes an integrated team of specialists with advanced training in wound care, including a panel of local physicians. Typically, a wound that does not respond to normal medical care within 30 days is considered a problem or chronic wound. The Wound Care Center offers you access to specially trained physicians and advanced methodologies for clinical wound care and oxygen treatments.

  2. ELCH Wound Care physicians utilize a variety of clinical treatments, therapies and support services to treat chronic wounds. The physicians providing coverage at ELCH come from differing medical backgrounds, enabling specialized care matched to the location and cause of the patient’s wound. Patients may refer themselves for treatment, or obtain a physician referral. Pressure ulcers, traumatic wounds, problem surgical wounds and other types of soft complex soft-tissue injuries may also be treated at the center.
