International Business Center

Mission: To provide superior education, research, and assistance to businesses, public policy makers, academics, and students on international business and trade.

CIBER – National Resource Center (since 1990) through funding by the U.S. Dept. of Education

U.S. Commercial Service Affiliate – partners with and supports the Commercial Service in mid-Michigan

MEDC STEP Program Statewide Partner – will provide training and resources to all Michigan businesses.

Michigan Export Growth Program

  • Program designed for small to medium-sized firms, seeking short and long-term export counseling

  • Supported by a team of student researchers and MSU faculty members

  • Services are completely confidential and final reports become client property upon completion

  • Free to the client


Global Business Club

  • Supports international business development in Michigan through monthly luncheons featuring global leaders. Past speakers include:
