  1. Why was there so little change in the Middle Ages? Throughout the Medicine Through Time course we will look at the impact of different factors on the progress of medicine during different time periods. Below are the different factors which we will look at and use to categorise the continuity and changes: Factors in Medicine Institution: The Church Institution: Government Science and Technology Individuals Attitudes: (respect for tradition) Education Communications

For the Middle ages we are going to look at these factors: Institution: The Church Institution: Government Individuals Attitudes: (respect for tradition) Education Use your notes from everything we have done on this topic to complete the table on the following pages explaining how each of the factors has changed medicine positively or led to continuity.
