Create a powerpoint that answers the following questions (at a minimum) – all of these questions, with answers, are due on June 1st. • What is the species? • Where did it come from? • What location(s) is it affecting now? • When did it arrive at its current location? • Why was it introduced? How did it get there? • What problems is it causing (to humans/environment)? • Does it have any good side effects? • What are ways agencies are dealing with the invading species? • Does the species have any affect on Iowa?

Additional information • You must bring a small drawing of what each powerpoint slide will look like and what it will say • We will have two days in the lab to FINALIZE your powerpoints • Minimum of 10 slides • Rubric is online at: http://mckinley.cr.k12.ia.us/Magnificent/Science.htm • Questions – ASK • You must get approval for the species you want – first come, first served. • You must show me why you want that species. • There are examples of what quality work looks like online • Quality work examples
