  1. JULIA GILLIAN(and the Art of Knowing) Alison McGhee

  2. THE GENRE OF THIS BOOK IS FICTION.

  3. SUMMARY • Julia Gillian is a very interesting girl . She has a dog named Bigfoot. She is very good at making predictions. But her days have not been so great because her parents are always studying and she still has not gotten her meerkat out of the claw machine . She has a list of her accomplishments and one of those accomplishments is that she has mastered the art of making papier-mâché. To find out more you will have to read the book.

  4. Recommendation • You should read this book if you have accomplished many things. Maybe one of your accomplishments is on Julia Gillian's list.

  5. MY FAVORITE PART WAS…..... • My favorite part of the book was when Julia Gillian was talking to Bigfoot and as he was not listening . Bigfoot dozes off with his new stuffed bat, that Julia Gillian had won at the claw machine, under his paw. • The reason thiswas my favorite part was because Bigfoot acted like he was listening to Julia Gillian, but he was actually adoring the stuffed animal that Julia Gillian hated.

  6. Some questions I would ask the character are…. • How did you learn to make papier-mâché from a book or by a friend? • When you were reading the book what did you think tree, fall, old, broken, and dog meant?
