  2. Goal of the project To develop unified information system for Latvian state archives: • Availability of resources for society • Appropriate services • Accumulation and preservation electronic documents and data

  3. Tasks of the project • Unified clients service • Receiving of electronic documents • Technological infrastructure, Virtual Private Network, USAIS in all archives and departments • Online availability • More effective working of archives system and work with state and municipal institutions

  10. Outcomes (3) Activity: Development of technical infrastructure • 315 computers • 27 LANs • 22 Internet connections • 150 archive employees trained in IT skills • Repository of electronic documents
