  3. STD*MIS 5.0 What’s different: • Data entry flow simplified • More edit checks • Designed to run in real time • Designed to be paperless If the project area, public health area, supervisor, and/or DIS wants to keep paper copies of FRs and IRs, they can be printed from the system

  4. STD*MIS 5.0 Everything starts with a referral. Types of Referrals: -Lab test report -Provider case report -Partners and clusters linked to a case -Partners and clusters not linked to a case -Clinic walk-ins or volunteers -Other (Repeat Testing, OOJ, etc.)

  5. STD*MIS 5.0 Messaging and Alerts Simple internal messaging Alerts New Assignment New Provider/Lab Rept. New Cluster To Your Case Review Notes Updated

  6. STD*MIS 5.0 Work Lists Worker: Open work list – provider follow-ups, field follow- ups, and cases Supervisor: Work Needing Assignment, Supervisor Review, and Congenital Review
