  2. BRIEFS INTRODUCTION OF FCE Federal College of Education was established in 1974 as Directorate of In-Service Teacher Education and Resource Material Center Islamabad. In 1978, it was upgraded to Teacher Education College and renamed as Federal College of Education (FCE) with the following mandate: Pre-Service Teacher Education In-Service Teacher Education.
