Decree of the President of the Russian Federation From the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation N 863 from July 27th, 2009 On the All-Russian sports forum “Russia – the Country of Sports”: With the view of development of physical culture and sports, international sports cooperation, as well as healthy life-style promotion, I hereby enact: 1. To annually hold the All-Russian sports forum “Russia – the Country of Sports”. 2. To appoint an Organizing Committee on holding of the All-Russian sports forum “Russia – the Country of Sports”. 3. To approve of the Regulations on the Organizing Committee on holding of the All-Russian sports forum “Russia – the Country of Sports”. 4. For the Government of the Russian Federation to ensure the holding of the All-Russian sports forum “Russia – the Country of Sports”. О мероприятии «Дни ледовых арен» О мероприятии First international congress Days of Ice Arenas is to become a platform for experience exchange, and demonstration of innovative equipment and management solutions. It is a dialog between the authorities and business. First international congress Days of Ice Arenas is a part of the Russia – the Country of Sports forum and Modern Sport: Innovations and Opportunities exhibition. The events are held with participation of the Administration of the President, Russian Government, Ministry of Sports, Tourism and Youth Policy of the Russian Federation. The forum will be attended by regional governors, members of regional sports and tourism executive authorities, investors and leading companies. • The event is equally interesting both for major ice palaces and for training arenas, as well as for sports complexes, schools and federations, owners of open skating rinks and investors of commercial centers. • Congress provides useful information for functioning and development of all of the above-mentioned bodies, specialists of which will be able to share experience of managing various ice facilities.

First International Congress Days of Ice Arenas Goal – to create a unique platform for exchange of experience and establishment of partnership relations in realization of governmental programs on the development of physical culture and sports in the regions of Russia. • Tasks: • demonstration of innovations of ice-based sports in Russia • development of scientific and technological cooperation in construction of ice facilities • exchange of experience in the field of athletes training and holding of competitions in ice-based sports • increase of investment appeal of Russia’s ice industry.

Days of Ice ArenasInternational Congress July 31st (Day 3) 10.00-18.00 Moscow ice facilities visiting seminar Megasport Sports Palace – unique construction, meeting all up-to-date international requirements. Specializes in holding of ice hockey, figure skating and short track competitions. Central Sports Palace – a successful example of physical culture and health improving complex, equipped with all facilities for various sports: ice hockey, figure skating, basketball, etc. Skating rink in the all-season covered alpine ski complex SNEZH.COM. There are about 30 all-season covered alpine ski complexes all over the world: in Europe, New Zealand, South Korea, Emirates. SNEZH.COM is the first such complex in Russia. Evropeysky skating rink is situated in the largest ultra-modern shopping and entertainment malls of Moscow. Two ice fields (for children and adults) are situated unusually high – on the seventh floor – that allows all visitors to watch beautiful scenery of the city.
