  3. WHAT IS ACUPUNCTURE? Acupuncture involves the insertion of small, hair-thin needles into specific points of the body called meridians. According to Chinese Medicine, energy flows through these meridians throughout your body, and the placement of needles can adjust this flow of energy and stimulate the body’s immune system and boost circulation.

  4. Types of Acupuncture We Offer • Acupuncture for Pain Management and Sports Medicine • Electro-Acupuncture Treatments

  5. Types of Acupuncture for Pain Management • Acupuncture for Pain Management • Acupuncture for Pain Relief • Acupuncture for Headache Relief • Acupuncture For Back Pain Relief • Acupuncture For Sciatica Pain Relief

  6. Acupuncture for Pain Management Acupuncture is based on the ancient Chinese Medicine concept of restoring balance. According to Chinese Medicine principles, life energy or qi flows through the body along specific channels or meridians. When the flow of energy is disrupted, imbalance can result, leading to pain or illness. Correcting the flow of energy restores balance to the body.

  7. Acupuncture for Pain Relief Acupuncture has been used for centuries for pain management, providing relief to people with injuries and chronic pain conditions. Headaches, back pain and inflammatory conditions are just a few of the conditions for which acupuncture can provide relief. If you have acute or chronic pain and are searching for an alternative treatment, Endpoint Wellness can help by providing acupuncture for pain relief.

  8. If you currently suffer from headaches caused by stress and tension, allergies and sinus pressure, or migraines, acupuncture may provide relief. Like other sources of pain, headaches are frequently caused by tension and inflammation. Acupuncture helps to reduce the body’s inflammatory response, relieving the pressure that causes headaches. Acupuncture also relaxes the muscles, easing

  9. Acupuncture For Back Pain Relief Acupuncture works on nearly every type of back pain because it facilitates the body’s natural healing ability and enhances natural pain relief. By stimulating the flow of energy along the meridians, acupuncture boosts the body’s release of pain-blocking chemicals and reduces the inflammatory response.

  10. From either side of the spine, the sciatic nerve travels through the pelvis and buttocks and on down through the leg. Sciatica can be caused by the narrowing of the lower back’s spinal cana and the breakdown of discs between the bones in the vertebrae. It can also stem from muscle spasms in the back or buttocks from too much lifting, straining, or spending extensive hours sitting and driving on a regular basis.

  11. Many treatments for sciatica are only intended to provide pain relief, but acupuncture can work on both the cause and the symptom. By stimulating the body’s natural flow of energy, acupuncture boosts the body’s ability to heal. As a result, the underlying cause for pressure on the sciatic nerve is treated. At the same time, acupuncture can decrease pain sensations for immediate pain relief.

  14. Dr. Geoff Hayes I became interested in health issues and pain relief after being diagnosed with a herniated lumbar disc that caused intense sciatic pain. After I, like you, made my own quest for relief, I felt a calling for healing and finding healthy, therapeutic options for pain management. Pursuing my passion, I left the business world, earned my degree from Southwest Acupuncture College. I have passed comprehensive national board examinations administered by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and am licensed by the state. As required by law, I use pre-sterilized, disposable, single-use needles to ensure your complete safety. I’m also certified as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine by the state board of New Mexico.
