Each time you want to create a new presentation from the template that you can edit and customize with content for a new game, do the following, depending on version:
In Windows, go to Office button and select New and under My Templates, you should be able to see and choose the template. If it’s not there, open it once and use “Save as” to save it as a template in templates folder.
In Mac/PowerPoint 2008, go to Project Gallery under File menu and select New tab and My Templates category where you can see and choose the template.
Go to the game board slide and enter desired category names in the top row of the table
If you need fewer categories and/or fewer questions per category, simply delete an entire row and/or column from the table that is the game board and then delete or hide the corresponding slides.
Use Find/Replace to replace “Category X” with the category name throughout the presentation, and repeat that for all categories.
Enter the “answer” for each category/dollar amount on the appropriate slide, remembering that this is really the “question” – the item that players will respond to by forming a question.
On the slide that follows each “answer” slide, enter the correct response the player should give – phrased as a question: What is…?
Delete this slide and previous slide that contain instructions
Change the theme and/or color scheme if desired, and in particular, customize the color scheme to change colors of hyperlinks before and after following if needed to make links easy to see on the game board.
