“Most of the graduates don´t have work experiences in the “live” company, some of them haven´t even visited a manufacturing company. Our company spends considerable resources to teach new employees – to encourage adaptation.”

  • „Increase in number of graduates choosing to study on economic secondary schools or universities. Unfortunately vocational schools disappear. They lost their attractiveness despite the fact that there is a high need from the side of Slovak labour market.”

  • „There are too many graduates from economic schools.”

  • „It would be good to connect manufacturing companies with educational institutions.“

  • „Young people have theoretical knowledge, but they are not able to use it in real life.“

  • „The theory is easy to learn at schools, but the practical part only in a working environment (in the company).

  • „Reducing the number of so called universities and put more emphasis on the functioning of vocational schools.“

  •  „Practical experience strengthen self-confidence and you receive problem solving skills. “

  • „Practical part of the work shows person´s ability to identify with the profession. It shows, if someone is capable for the profession.”
