  3. Key words Current: Flow of electrons around a circuit, measured in amperes (A) Potential Difference: The difference in energy between an electron going into a component and leaving a component, measured in Volts (V)

  4. Current and Charge Current = Charge flow time taken Current is measured in Amperes (A) Charge flow is measure in Coulombs (C) Time taken is measured in seconds (s)

Questions • Complete summary questions on page153. • Create a circuit with a bulb, a variable resistor and a power pack • What happens to the brightness of the bulb when you change the variable resistor? • Replace the variable resistor with a diode. • See what happens when you switch the cabled round of the diode.
