  3. PG&E’s Whole House Program • Comprehensive home retrofits that will follow the residential energy efficiency loading order; addressing the building shell prior to adjusting mechanical systems. • Statewide goal: Achieve 20 percent energy savings in 130,000 homes by end of 2012.

PG&E’s Whole House Program Models • Prescriptive • Focus on building shell • No diagnostic audit required • “On ramp” for home performance contractors • Whole House Performance • Requires diagnostic audit (HERS Phase II compliant) • Comprehensive scope of work • Larger incentives than prescriptive program
