Personal Ads • You will be presented with several personal ads. • Pretend that you are looking for a roommate…based on the information (evidence) provided to you, rank your top picks from 1 to 5 • Individually • Remember: You need to make an argument for the best roommate (Claim, Evidence, Warrant)

  17. Groups • Get into small groups (3 or less) • Convince each other of your rankings

  18. Whole Class • I will make a chart on the board…. • Lets look at the most disagreed upon person • -Who thought he/she was the best • -Why? (EVIDENCE!!!!!!!) • Membership or Individualized? • Debrief (strategies to come up with rankings)
