  3. HABITAT • All the sea otters live in the oceans. • Sea otters are found in coastal waters. • They are not in deep waters. They are in shallow waters.

  4. FAMILY LIFE • The mother’s baby is called a pup. • Sea otters are mammals like you and me. • A baby sea otter is born alive.

  5. DIET • They eat clams, crabs, fish, mussels, octopusand squid. • Otters dive up to 180 ft. to find their food. • The Sea otter’s diet mainly consists of clams.
