Einordnung Ursprung: Luftfahrt und Verteidigung In Zusammenarbeit von Anwendern und Industrie Im Jahr 1993 NATO-Workshop in Paris zu „Struktur und funktionalem Inhalt“ • Weitere Zeitmarken: • 2003 MOU zwischen AIA und ASD (Weiterentwicklung S1000D) • 2007 MOU zwischen AIA, ASD und A4A (S1000D) • 2010 MOU zwischen AIA, ASD ILS-Specificationen gemeinsam zu erarbeiten (S-Series of ILS Specifications) • 2012 SX000i durch das ILS Spec Council gestartet

SX000i The purpose of the SX000i is to: • explain the vision and objectives for the of S-Series of ILS Specs; • provide a framework that documents the global ILS process and interactions; • explain how the S-Series of ILS Specs interface with other standardization domains such as engineering, manufacturing, global supply chain, collaboration, security, etc. • identify missing ILS specifications needs for possible future development; • describe the global governance of S-Series of ILS Specs development • provide guidance on how to satisfy specific business requirements using an appropriate selection of defined processes and specifications.
