  4. National National Health Standards - Created in 2015 Oregon Health Education Standards - Adopted in 2016 Beaverton School District Learning Targets - Adopted in 2018 ⬥ ⬥ ⬥ 2018-2019 ~ Sexual abuse prevention (Erin’s Law) 2019-2020 ~ New standards & curriculum

  5. These new Standards are saving lives Last year, with the rollout of the new sexual abuse prevention lessons, incidents of reported abuse within BSD increased.

  6. Partnership Partnership Health education is achieved through a partnership of all stakeholders: teachers, students, families, administrators, schools, and community. The task of the Beaverton School District is to create a learning environment in which all students are valued for their diversity, fostered in their wellness development, challenged, and motivated to continue learning and leading a healthy lifestyle throughout their lifetime.
