Feedback from Forum Members I think that the lessons from SCR's need to continue to be addressed at every opportunity so it becomes embedded in daily practice; I think that sharing information and concerns would allow practitioners to feel supported to work with complex families better; I must say that I found the meeting most refreshing, well structured, inclusive and productive. I feel optimistic that it is not simply a paper exercise and some good can come out of it. Well done you and whoever assisted you in setting up this forum”.

Summary • Following the death of Baby Peter Connolly, Lord Laming’s review told those working in children’s services that most of the necessary reforms were in place and they should “now just do it”. • We found that most frameworks and improvements were in place – even if some of these need updating. • What are you now planning to do ?
