Facts and Data • Surprisingly, the Economic University of Bucharest is bigger than you would expect it to be: it has over 50,000 students, 1,000 professors and 9 buildings. It is also the largest supplier of economists for the Romanian labor market. • The students have a variety of departments to choose from – there are 10 faculties, everything from computer science to ecological economy.
The Organisation • Apart from providing a wide range of courses in its 10 faculties and 4 colleges, the Economic University of Bucharest offers its students the environment necessary for individual studying and research. The University benefits from its own publishing house, several libraries offering a remarkable collection of books, a virtual campus and modern technical endowments for the lecture rooms, consultancy, assistance and research units, foreign languages departments which offers courses without any charges, gyms, a cafeteria with advantageous prices.
Academic offer • ASE offers a great variety of degrees for its students. While as a graduate you are, generally speaking, an economist, specializations differ according to the profile you have chosen. Here is a list of possible degrees you can obtain according to the faculty you have finished :

Partnership • The Economic University of Bucharest collaborates with various companies for internships, training, case studies, or recruitment. In order to ensure the students' preparation for the challenges and demands of the labour market, each Faculty closely cooperates with firms and institutions from the field of activity related to the students' specialization. The university also partners with other European Universities for Erasmus programs.

Future goals • It aspires to be counted among the top universities of the world and, by achieving this, to receive the respect that it deserves. To accomplish it, serious limitations in the admission numbers need to be taken into consideration. Also, the modernization of the institution is essential for the well-being of the students in the university.
