The Ancient Olympics • The first ancient Olympics 776 b.c • Continued for the next 1000 years. • All men could compete and women were not allowed to watch or compete. • All athletes competed in nude • Always held in Olympia. • 200m foot race only event for 13 games. • In 1898 first modern Olympics

  3. The Modern Olympics • In 1898 the first modern Olympics started. • Started in Athens in Greece. • Men and women are allowed to compete. • In the modern Olympic games they compete in weight lifting ,shot put, BMX, Equestrian: dressage, boxing and lots more.
