Resurrection The hero faces the resurrection, a dangerous meeting with death. This final life or death situation .The hero is reborn for a final showdown between the hero and the enemy. Other lives, or even more like a whole town is at stake. Other friends come to the last second rescue to help the hero, but in the end it’s the hero that rises to action
How is the resurrection different from the ordeal? The difference between the resurrection and the ordeal is in the resurrection there is a sacrifice, and the hero loses something he loves or cares about. Another difference is after the resurrection the conflict is finally resolved.
What is the difference if the hero is successful? The difference is if the hero is successful there is usually happier and more resolved ending. If he is not successful which is usually less common, then in some stories the hero ends up dead, and the story is resolved in a different way by different characters.
