GMAP: The Global Master of Arts Program The quality and community of Fletcher in a flexible format • 35 international professionals enroll in each session (March and July) • Average age of 40 years • 80% have 10-15 years professional experience • 50% non-US citizens • Three terms, each with a two-week residency and eleven weeks of Internet-mediated instruction • Begin and end at The Fletcher School • Midyear residency at an international site • The Fletcher Master of Arts without relocating to Medford • Eight courses • Thesis • Language requirement

GMAP Update During GMAP’s tenth anniversary year, we celebrate with our 500+ alumni and current students around the world • August 22 to September 3, 2010: GMAP March midyear residency in Brussels, Belgium • October 15-16, 2010: GMAP @ 10 celebration in Washington, DC • January 3-15, 2011: GMAP July midyear residency in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Executive and Diplomatic Education:Fletcher Summer Institute Every summer The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, in coordination with the International Center on Nonviolent Conflict brings together 45 mid-career executives for The Fletcher Summer Institute for the Advanced Study on Nonviolent Conflict, an intensive week-long course on the theory and practice of civil resistance.

Fletcher Advertising: A New Voice for Greater Impact • Introduced in late 2008, Fletcher’s latest advertising campaign uses creative messaging to highlight unique community, brand strengths and success stories • Campaign will have design update in late 2010, with additional messaging • Online, print, local and merchandise advertising

Managing Media: Social Networks and Public Relations • Coverage in international media outlets has increased 60%since 2007; First-tier outlets include Associated Press, Reuters, CNN, Boston Globe, NPR, BBC, US News & World Report, The Economist • Frequent social media participation has allowed for redistribution of news coverage, announcements and point-of-pride mentions; more than 2,500 followers • Cost-effective campaigns to heighten awareness of Fletcher expertise and success
