  3. What is Circle K? Circle K International (CKI) is an international collegiate service organization that is a sponsored leadership program of Kiwanis International. It promotes service, leadership, and fellowship. With over 13,250 members, it is the largest collegiate service organization of its kind in the world.

  4. Our Vision Circle K is the organization that holds the promise of today’s college student becoming tomorrow’s leader. It exists to meet the personal needs of the collegian through the qualities of leadership, the rewards of service, and the unique spirit of friendship. Circle K is the embodiment of those qualities necessary to shape the future, realized in the colleges and universities of today.

Objectives of This Club • To emphasize the advantages of the democratic way of life • To provide the opportunity for leadership training in service • To serve on the campus and in the community • To cooperate with the college the club is part of • To encourage participation in group activities • To promote good fellowship and high scholarship

Objectives of This Club • To promote these ideals: • Give primacy of the human and spiritual rather than the material • Daily live the Golden Rule • Promote and apply high social, business, and professional standards • To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive, and serviceable citizenship • To provide through Circle K, a means to form enduring friendships, render altruistic service, and build better communities • To cooperate to promote high idealism to increase righteousness, justice, patriotism, and goodwill

  7. CKI Pledge I pledge to uphold the objectives of Circle K International, to foster compassion and goodwill toward others through service and leadership, to develop my abilities and the abilities of all people, and to dedicate myself to the realization of mankind’s potential.

  9. History • Circle K has been at Brewton-Parker College since 1992 when David Kight was the club president. (Yep it IS that old!) Notice the hair • Back then we sold Claxton fruit cake and Bar-B-Q chicken for fund raisers • The Kiwanis sent me to the international Convention in San Antonio, TX • I received scholarships from the Kiwanis that helped me to be able to graduate

  10. Service CKI is dedicated to helping the community through various service projects across the United States and in all our communities and around the world.

  11. Fellowship In addition to helping the community, Circle K International prides itself in building fellowship and lifelong friendships.

  12. Leadership Participation in CKI ensures excellent networking opportunities while giving members the tools to become leaders.

  13. What Circle K Does at BPC • Blood Drive to serve our community • Helped the Kiwanis with poinsettia sales to raise funds for scholarships

  14. What Circle K Does at BPC • Participate in the Kiwanis fair • Chili cook off to raise funds for our college

What Our Circle K Offers Members • Our sponsor organization normally pays our annual membership dues • The opportunity to receive scholarship money • The opportunity to attend conferences on leadership and service • The opportunity to attend the Vidalia Kiwanis meetings free and make valuable contact with potential employers and leaders • We have a great time while improving our skills and serving the community • A certificate of membership that shows you improved yourself by being a part of an international organization dedicated to service, leadership, and fellowship
