  3. The UnHoly, Counterfeit Trinity • And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. (Revelation 12:3) • Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. (Revelation 13:1) • Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. (Revelation 13:11)

The Beast from the Sea (Anti-Christ)The Counterfeit Christ (13:1-10) • He is the political leader of the revived Roman Empire • Daniel 2:40-45; 7:7-11; 9:27; Rev. 17:3, 7 • He is Empowered by Satan (3) • He Will Recover from a fatal wound (3) • He will direct worship to Satan and accept worship himself.

The Beast from the Earth (False Prophet)The Counterfeit Spirit(13:11-18) • He will share in the power of the anti-christ (11) • He will set-up a false religious system (2 Thess. 2:1-4; Dan. 9:27; Mt. 24:15) • He will perform counterfeit signs as part of his deception (13) • He will greatly influence the world economic system (16-18)

  7. One Final, but Vital, Reminder • The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. • Revelation 19:20-21 • He who believes in the Son has everlasting life, and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him. • John 3:36
