Proposal Needs from Potential Partners • 31 March • Email or letter from industry to internal partner • Reflect anticipated mutual benefits in a way that refer specifically to the goals of the STC and the company’s interests • Reflect what Company could contribute and how they would benefit • Support need not be monetary, especially at this stage

  3. Assurances • Email/letter • Not a legally binding document • Statement of interest to partner if funded • No need for funds/in-kind support now • Expect NSF to announce award 3/2010 • Long-term Goal: Site visit • Assistance to solidify partnerships
