  5. Morning Coffee Clean tidy serving area Serve a range of hot and cold drinks Slice and present cakes Communicate clearly

  6. Light lunches are served from 12 noon These typically include: Soups Pates Sandwiches Jacket potatoes Fish cakes Pastas Kebabs

  7. Maintain a safe, hygienic working environment Wear clean correct uniform Follow health and safety procedure Listen, understand and follow instructions Work independently and with colleagues

  8. The Waiters role Deal with customers promptly Good customer service Clearly written orders Prepare bills Receive payment and give correct change Communicate with kitchen

  9. Action Research Project Food Science/Nutrition course Outcome: Develop inclusive coherent programme Improve quality of learning Awareness of food science/nutrition
