  2. When it Came To Be • The Civil War started on April 12th, 1861. • The war was between Confederate States and the Union States. The two states disagreed with one another on states rights and slavery so the Confederates seceded which is how the Confederate States and Union States came to be. http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl

  3. Who Took Part in The War • The two side who were involved in the Civil War were the Union (north) and the Confederates (south).   7. Confederate Alliances The two alliances in the Civil War were Britain and France. The Confederates sent their representatives to London and Paris, to lobby for official recognition. In the summer of 1812, Lee drove the Union army back across Virginia and the Confederacy was gaining creditability.   25. The Effect the Civil War had on America If the Civil War had not occurred, then America wouldn't be what it is today. If the War hadn’t happened, then we wouldn't be the United States as a whole union. There would be a Confederate States of America and we would probably be living there.
