  4. Rules and Expectations At Jennie Smith School, we follow a Positive Behavior Support program. Our behavior is modeled on a set of expectations with the acronym STARS. Home

  5. Accelerated Reader Jennie Smith School participates in the Accelerated Reader program. We can access all the tests that they have written, but not all books have a test. If you need to check to see if a book has a test, you can do it by linking here. If you have finished reading an AR book, you may take the test for it when you are in the library. See Mrs. Huelsenbeck for directions. Home

  6. Destiny Destiny is the online catalog system used by the Christina School District. Using Destiny, you can look for a book in our library and find out if it is available for checkout. You can also see if the book is owned by any of the other schools in the District. If it is, an Inter-Library Loan (ILL) can be arranged by your school librarian. Destiny is accessible from your home computer. There is also a Destiny Tutorial to show you how to use this useful program. Home

  7. Borrowing Policy Students come to the Library with their classes once a week during regular school hours. Students are permitted to check out two books at a time. Books are due in one week, on the next class library day. If you are not finished reading your book, you can bring it with you to check it out again. This is called “renewing” the book. Home
