  3. Appearance • The panda bear is cute and cuddly. Panda Bears have big black eyes and they are black and white. Pandas are 6 feet tall and they weigh 165 – 300 pounds.

  4. Habitat • Panda Bears live Southwestern China. Pandas live in bamboo forests in China and can also live in rainy mountains. Giant Panda Bears can also live in zoos. Their habitat is shrinking each day.

  5. Food • Panda Bears eat bamboo, meat, berries, flowers, grassand water. Pandas will also eat small animals and fish. Did you know that Panda Bears spend 12 hours of their day eating food?

  6. Young • Panda Bear cubs will stay with their mother for 18 months. Panda Bears will only take care of one cub at a time. If they have more then one cub they will let it die.

  7. Interesting facts • There are only about 100o Giant Panda Bears left in the wild. Panda Bears are endangered species because they are close to becoming extinct.
