  2. Academic Excellence Indicator System(AEIS) • Gives parents and community a snapshot of a district and campus • Performance • Profile • Published each year • Use data collected through the state reporting system (PEIMS) and through the assessment system

  3. AEIS Performance Reports • The performance indicators include: • TAKS scores • Met standard by grade, by subject, by all grades tested, and by student groups; • Met standard at each of the phase-in levels • Achieved commended performance (~90% of the items correct) • Summed 3-10 AND ALL GRADES TESTED • Participation rates • Cumulative pass rate (TAKS) • Student Success Initiative Results • RPTE Results

  4. AEIS Performance Reports • The performance indicators include: • Attendance rate for the full year; • Annual drop out rate; • Completion and dropout rates: • With Student Status • With GED • Without GED

AEIS Performance Reports • The performance indicators also include: • percent of graduates completing the Recommended High School Program (RHSP)/ Distinguished Achievement Program (DAP); • AP and IB examination results; • SAT and ACT examination; and • Advanced Courses/Dual Enrollment Completion. • Performance on each of these indicators is shown disaggregated by ethnicity, special education and low income status.
