  4. What’s Cookie? • Cookies are files that stores information about where you go and who you visit on the World Wide Web. (The website you visited would ask your browser to save a small lump of information in your own computer) • Track how often you visit a site • Save your login name and password • Store your billing address and credit card number • Save a user profile so that the site can present information customized to your needs.
